Lead Supplier Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and mentor Supplier Quality Engineers supporting the Lone Star division.
• Develop and maintain the Supplier Quality Manual and establish supplier quality expectations.
• Design and manage supplier corrective action programs, tracking issues through verified resolution.
• Build supplier performance rating systems and improvement plans based on quality metrics.
• Plan and execute internal and external supplier audits for specification, contract, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with purchasing and contracts on defective-product controls, supplier development, and contract requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences required; industrial technology, industrial engineering, or mechanical engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Expertise with SPC, control plans, FMEA, MSA, quality control processes, and QMS.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T for manufacturing and supplier quality.
• Strong root cause analysis, troubleshooting, technical writing, communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
• Proficiency with quality management, data analysis, and office productivity software.
