Manufacturing Quality Manager (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Tempe Spares Mfg, Arizona, United States; onsite manufacturing and controlled cleanroom environment

Salary: $120,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing quality and inspection activities to ensure products meet engineering drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and quality standards.
• Drive improvements in product quality, first-pass yield, scrap, rework, defect reduction, customer escapes, inspection cycle time, and Cost of Poor Quality.
• Manage incoming, in-process, and final inspection, including dimensional inspection, CMM, metrology, equipment calibration, and nonconforming product disposition.
• Lead complex quality investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, containment, and effectiveness verification using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, and SPC.
• Maintain QMS and ISO 9001 compliance, support audits, and manage CAPA and audit findings.
• Lead, coach, and develop Quality Engineers and Quality Technicians while partnering with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, customers, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 10+ years of manufacturing quality or quality engineering experience, preferably in precision manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, dimensional inspection, CMM, and precision measurement equipment.
• Experience with ISO 9001, QMS, CAPA, 8D, FMEA, SPC, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to lead cross-functional investigations and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work on the manufacturing floor and in controlled cleanroom environments, following gowning, contamination-control, safety, EHS, and PPE requirements.

• 5+ years of leadership or people-management experience.
• Experience with precision machining, advanced materials, and coating processes.
