Project Executive - PMO Center of Excellence (AI Automation)

What you will do

• Establish and lead the PMO Scheduling Center of Excellence.
• Define enterprise scheduling standards, governance processes, methodologies, and master project schedule templates.
• Partner with Sales, Delivery, Operations, and Resource Management to improve project planning, forecasting, portfolio visibility, and capacity planning.
• Lead schedule audits, identify risks and planning gaps, and develop reporting on project performance and schedule health.
• Train and coach project managers on scheduling best practices, project controls, and PMI-aligned methodologies.
• Evaluate scheduling, resource planning, reporting, and AI-enabled automation solutions, including connectivity across Smartsheet, PSA, and centralized resource management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• PMP certification required.
• 10+ years of experience managing detailed, complex master project schedules in a PMO, professional services, consulting, technology, healthcare IT, or similar environment.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise scheduling, project controls, portfolio planning, earned value management, critical path analysis, resource forecasting, dependency management, and schedule risk analysis.
• Experience leading PMO governance, audits, compliance, or Center of Excellence initiatives and partnering with executive and cross-functional leaders.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, PSA platforms, or comparable enterprise tools.
• Experience implementing Professional Services Automation and resource management processes.
• Experience evaluating project management technologies, executive dashboards, and performance reporting frameworks.
• Experience with AI-enabled workflow automation or digital transformation initiatives.
