Distribution Compliance Officer (Asset Management)

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid arrangement with at least four days per week in the office and up to one day per week working from home.

What you will do

• Provide regulatory advice on cross-border distribution, product compliance, and local requirements for EMEA and Latin America distribution offices.
• Support European and Latin American offices with local obligations, onsite requirements, regulatory engagement, and compliance risk assessments.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for distribution activities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into controlled processes and practical guidance.
• Support market entries, product launches, licence-impacting changes, and strategic growth initiatives by embedding compliance requirements early.
• Create and enhance management information and reporting covering cross-border activity, private placements, reverse inquiries, regulatory reporting, and training completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Distribution or Regulatory Compliance, ideally within asset management or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of asset management products, fund structures, UCITS, AIFMD, and MiFID II.
• Deep understanding of cross-border distribution rules, private placement regimes, reverse inquiry frameworks, and local marketing requirements.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders in a process-driven and operationally focused environment.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and team-working skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Seismic and/or SharePoint.
