Planner I, MRP (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Morganton, North Carolina, United States; up to 10% travel may be required.

Salary: $50,000–$55,000 per year.

What you will do

• Schedule, release, and maintain plans for finished goods and fabricated components.
• Provide planning and procurement information to MRP management and plant supervision.
• Maintain inventories, purchase orders, scheduled quantities, and material availability.
• Coordinate production capacity, priority items, engineering changes, shortages, and job balances.
• Work with buyers, vendors, customers, and plant support groups to resolve issues and requests.
• Prepare and maintain daily and weekly reports and support department performance metrics.

Requirements

• Associate degree in business or a related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Working knowledge of materials planning systems preferred.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing experience.
• CPIM certification.
