Management Company Accounting Senior Associate (Generative AI)

Location: New York, United States

Annual base salary: $150,000–$190,000, plus variable year-end compensation.

What you will do

• Own accounting change initiatives from scoping and design through implementation and post-implementation review.
• Prepare and review recurring financial reporting deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Provide technical expertise on complex accounting matters, reporting requirements, and control design and operation.
• Partner with Fund Accounting, Tax, Legal & Compliance, technology, and other Financial Operations stakeholders.
• Strengthen processes, close control gaps, and build scalable, well-documented workflows.
• Identify and implement generative AI and automation opportunities across close, reporting, and control activities.

Requirements

• Five to eight years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in alternative asset management, financial services, or public accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA required.
• Deep expertise in financial reporting and internal controls, with the ability to work independently on ambiguous, high-stakes matters.
• Experience owning initiatives end to end, reviewing deliverables, coaching colleagues, and designing improved processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, discretion, and attention-to-detail skills.
