Accounting Manager (AI)

Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA (On-site)

Salary: $145,000 – $165,000

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end accounting close procedures and support month-end reporting.
• Prepare supporting documentation and reconciliations for cash, payroll, assets, and accruals.
• Perform daily accounting tasks including vendor bill reviews, cash application, and expense management.
• Coordinate with external auditors for global and local statutory audits.
• Drive finance transformation by implementing AI-first processes and upgrading the accounting tech stack.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco, CA for this on-site role.
• 4-8 years of accounting experience in both public and private high-growth companies.
• Proficiency in US GAAP.
• Ability to design and automate processes using AI.
• Detail-oriented, self-directed builder with a passion for scaling finance functions.

Nice to have

• Previous IPO experience with an enterprise B2B software company.
• CPA license or Big 4 accounting experience.
• Proficiency with modern office-of-the-CFO tech stacks.
