Manufacturing Supervisor (MedTech)

Location: Leiden, South Holland, Netherlands; onsite work with shifts from 06:30–15:00 and 14:30–23:00

Salary: €63,155–€73,300 annual base pay, including 8% holiday allowance

What you will do

• Lead a hands-on, cross-functional production team and assign operators across the manufacturing area.
• Meet master production and shipment schedules while maintaining safety, cGMP, EHS, and lean standards.
• Support new product and equipment introductions, including user requirements, equipment qualification, and operator training.
• Maintain SOPs, work instructions, process documentation, and compliant production records.
• Monitor production metrics such as yield, non-conformances, training, and absenteeism; report results and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead deviation investigations, support CAPA activities, and escalate technical issues to specialists and engineers.

Requirements

• HBO-level education or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience; medical device or medical industry experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end manufacturing processes and familiarity with cGMP and EHS requirements.
• Practical computer and automation software skills, including Excel, Windows, and ERP systems.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
• Experience with Six Sigma or process-excellence tools, data-driven decision-making, business and financial acumen, and presentations.
