Data Migration Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Load and validate client data in the Clearwater investment account system.
• Collect, analyze, normalize, reconcile, and report data using Excel, SQL, and related workflows.
• Investigate data issues and discrepancies and apply appropriate procedures and decision-making practices.
• Implement continuous service improvements and develop repeatable, adaptable migration processes.
• Coordinate complex onboarding activities with development teams in a dynamic environment.
• Apply accounting, investment, and Clearwater Way methodologies to client implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in finance, mathematics, accounting, or economics.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong accounting knowledge, including accounting equations, amortization, and interest income.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with SQL or relational databases.
• Knowledge of securities or financial markets, especially derivatives, alternatives, structured products, or fixed income.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, communication, organization, interpersonal, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
