What you will do

• Work with the Data Warehouse Product Owner and Business System Analyst to understand business needs and write user stories.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and data architects to develop data flows.
• Build data pipelines that load data from multiple sources and apply complex business logic to normalized and denormalized data structures.
• Diagnose and resolve data pipeline, data quality, and data accessibility issues.
• Manage and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and other data infrastructure components.
• Implement validation rules, monitoring, data lineage tracking, and workflow automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field; alternatively, 5+ years of professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with database development, OLTP, data warehouses, dimensional modeling, cloud data platforms, data pipelines, Agile methodologies, source control, and software development lifecycles.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Scala.
• Ability to work with probability, statistical inference, complex data, ambiguity, and changing priorities.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Epic Clarity/Caboodle data models or other healthcare data.
• Experience with Microsoft SSIS, Microsoft Fabric, cloud lakehouses, Kafka, Airflow, or Dagster.
• Experience with data observability, anomaly detection, MLOps, AI copilots, or development automation tools.
