Senior Manager Quality Engineering SDET

Location: Hybrid role based near the corporate office in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. Travel up to 15%.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Annual Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Lead automated testing initiatives, test framework modernization, and automation integration within CI/CD processes.
• Define and oversee test design, execution, monitoring, defect reporting, and remediation activities.
• Manage QA, UAT, and post-release testing for software applications.
• Research and introduce advanced automated testing methodologies to improve quality and resource efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership, set goals, and develop direct reports and Quality Engineering team members.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Development, and DevOps teams on testing priorities and quality challenges.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience in Technology or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience with large digital delivery projects and 4 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience leading technology transformation efforts for web applications and technical projects in a matrix environment.
• Experience balancing multiple platforms, teams, assignments, and priorities.
• Ability to work near the Memphis office in a hybrid arrangement.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or associate degree, or equivalent technology experience.
• 10 or more years of professional Technology experience.
• Experience with test architecture, assertion libraries, test runners, test methodologies, monorepo architecture, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using AI in application development.
• Experience mentoring team members, providing performance feedback, and working as a developer or individual contributor.
