Senior Underwriter, Casualty

What you will do

• Underwrite new and renewal casualty business, including large and complex risk-managed clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, clients, and senior management.
• Make underwriting decisions within delegated authority and build a profitable book of business.
• Prepare bespoke policy documentation and accurate management information.
• Monitor industry practices, market developments, pricing, regulatory requirements, and hirify.global standards.
• Support less experienced underwriters through training and development.

Requirements

• Proven general underwriting experience, preferably in casualty lines.
• Excellent knowledge of casualty underwriting principles and liability products.
• Strong risk analysis and technical skills.
• Proficient knowledge of key regulatory requirements.
• Ability to build effective relationships with brokers and senior management.
• ACII qualification, progress toward ACII, or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
