Senior Programme Manager (Insurance)

Location: United Kingdom, any city, with frequent travel to London. Remote working is available with flexible working arrangements, but regular travel to London is required.

What you will do

• Lead complex business and technology programmes from concept through implementation and benefits realisation.
• Build and manage integrated delivery plans, milestones, budgets, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Provide governance, reporting, and delivery insight to senior leadership and Steering Committees.
• Coordinate business, operational, technology, supplier, transition, and adoption activities.
• Manage supplier relationships and delivery performance across multiple workstreams.
• Coach Project Managers and represent Velonetic in market governance forums and stakeholder groups.

Requirements

• Extensive experience managing large-scale technology and transformation programmes.
• Proven delivery across scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and benefits objectives.
• Strong knowledge of programme governance, planning, financial management, and delivery controls.
• Experience managing supplier-dependent delivery and third-party relationships.
• Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders and executive audiences.
• Experience delivering business-critical change in complex operational environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance, reinsurance, Lloyd's, or the London Insurance Market.
• Experience with outsourced delivery partners, modernisation, or platform transformation programmes.
• Knowledge of Agile, hybrid, and Waterfall methodologies.
• PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, APM, or similar professional certification.
