Display Mechanical Engineer, Commercial Displays

What you will do

• Coordinate display engineering activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Evaluate design trade-offs, resolve technical issues, and support product integration with internal engineering teams.
• Collaborate with external ODM partners on engineering execution, issue resolution, and schedule alignment.
• Support technical discussions covering display technologies, manufacturability, supplier capabilities, and product quality.
• Translate business and product requirements into actionable engineering plans while identifying risks and driving timely resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Display Engineering, Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Typically 7–10 years of experience in engineering design, hardware development, implementation, or a related field.
• Knowledge of display technologies, hardware development processes, manufacturing, or supplier engagement.
• Experience with consumer electronics, computing devices, ODM, OEM, or contract manufacturing partners.
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin are required.
• Knowledge of mechanical design, CAD, 3D modeling, prototyping, finite element methods, thermal management, and manufacturing processes.
