Hardware Sr. Mechanical Engineer

What you will do

• Lead architecture and design reviews for fitness equipment and complex electro-mechanical modules.
• Design mechanical components and perform engineering analysis throughout the product life cycle.
• Coordinate prototype builds through the in-house model shop and support prototype development.
• Write test plans, review test setups, and analyze test results.
• Use data to drive project decisions and milestone readiness.
• Coach and mentor other team members while collaborating with cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design Engineering.
• 10 years of experience as a mechanical engineer.
• Strong knowledge of statics, dynamics, stress analysis, materials science, and finite element analysis.
• Proficiency in at least one 3D MCAD package; SolidWorks is preferred.
• Experience with PLM, ECN processes, prototyping, test planning, and engineering confidence testing.
• Experience with sheet metal, injection molding, machining, casting, metrology, and high-volume consumer electronics.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience with thermal, kinematics, vibration/noise analysis, or power transmission components.
• Hands-on experience with 3D printing, machining, welding, assembly, or product modification.
• Experience with Asian development and manufacturing partners, technical leadership, startup environments, fitness products, or ODM/JDM management.
