Credentialed Trainer I (Health Informatics)

Location: CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, 3330 Masonic Drive, Alexandria, Louisiana 71301, United States. Full-time onsite role with moderate overnight travel of up to 30% and onsite end-user support responsibilities.

What you will do

• Plan, organize, and deliver classroom, virtual, workflow-based, role-specific, and eLearning training for electronic health record implementations.
• Work with Principal Trainers, Clinical Informatics Analysts, Clinical Informaticists, healthcare leaders, and Education to align system build, training, and support with approved workflows.
• Provide onsite end-user support through rounding, associate fairs, job shadows, and other support activities.
• Prepare classrooms and learning materials, maintain online learning modules, and create job aids using approved templates and style guides.
• Coordinate with provisioning teams to confirm required training is completed before system access is granted.
• Test and troubleshoot training and build environments, escalate significant issues, and deliver assigned work on time.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate degree is preferred.
• At least one year of education or training experience; healthcare education experience is preferred.
• Experience with adult learners and in-person or virtual training is preferred.
• Previous experience with Epic applications as a Credentialed Trainer, end user, informaticist, analyst, logistics coordinator, or facilitator is strongly preferred.
• Experience with instructional design, training, Microsoft Office, and preferably an industry learning management system; willingness to learn Excel, Teams, Shifts, Tasks, and Lists is required.
• Must achieve designated Epic Credentialed status within six months of hire and cross-train in an additional Epic application within one year, unless otherwise agreed with management.
