Stakeholder Communications Associate Manager (Education)

Location: IB Global Centre, Cardiff, United Kingdom; hybrid working with office presence required one day per week

Salary: £48,000–£50,000 per annum depending on experience

What you will do

• Develop and maintain global school communications strategies aligned with organisational priorities and stakeholder needs.
• Advise senior leaders on communications planning, stakeholder impacts, emerging issues, and reputational risk.
• Lead communications for curriculum reviews, programme developments, assessment transformation, and educational innovation.
• Create integrated communications plans for complex, cross-functional change initiatives.
• Translate complex policy, programme, and organisational information into clear communications for schools and educators.
• Oversee newsletters, email campaigns, digital content, school engagement, analytics, and communications evaluation.

Requirements

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant communications experience involving extensive internal and external stakeholder management, preferably in an international setting.
• Experience developing communications for organisational change, transformation, or complex programmes.
• Experience advising senior leaders and influencing stakeholders in a complex, matrix environment.
• Strong understanding of change communications, stakeholder engagement, reputation, communications risk, audience insight, and evaluation.
• Native or near-perfect English writing and editing skills are essential.

Nice to have

• French or Spanish language skills.
• Experience providing content for a global school community.
