Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Developer & Consultant

Location: Ontario, Canada; preferably based in Canada, ideally Toronto/GTA, with occasional onsite work for clients in Toronto

What you will do

• Deliver Microsoft Fabric and Power BI solutions for client projects.
• Work directly with customers to understand business and technical requirements and clarify project scope.
• Translate requirements into practical technical solutions and build, configure, test, and deliver them.
• Manage assigned project work and deliverables independently with limited supervision.
• Provide project updates, communicate risks and blockers, and participate in client meetings.
• Collaborate with the internal technical team on architecture and complex technical questions.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• Experience delivering data and BI solutions in a Microsoft environment.
• Previous consulting or client-facing project experience.
• Ability to understand requirements, define project scope, and work independently.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good English communication skills required; mid-to-senior professional experience expected.

Nice to have

• Experience working for a Microsoft Partner or consulting company.
• Broader Microsoft data-platform experience.
• Experience joining existing projects and becoming productive quickly.
• Based in Canada, ideally Toronto/GTA, with the ability to occasionally work onsite with Toronto clients.
