Team Leader - Digital Asset Management

Location: Chicago, IL, USA; hybrid work model with remote work and intentional in-person collaboration. Local candidates already authorized to work in the United States only; no relocation support.

Salary: $96,100–$118,700 USD annually, plus target bonus eligibility and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day operations and service performance for the KCNA Digital Asset Management platform, The Pine.
• Lead, coach, onboard, and develop a team of Cybrarians while setting priorities and balancing workloads.
• Maintain metadata, taxonomy, permissions, lifecycle, governance, and compliance standards for digital assets.
• Partner with marketing, brand, commerce, creative, technology, and agency stakeholders to support workflows and resolve issues.
• Oversee asset intake, organization, quality control, discoverability, rights compliance, and retirement activities.
• Track usage, service levels, workload trends, and feedback while leading process improvements and DAM enhancements.

Requirements

• Experience leading, coaching, or managing a team, including prioritization, feedback, and capability development.
• 3+ years of experience managing or supporting a Digital Asset Management system; Aprimo experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, and digital content governance.
• Ability to translate requirements into clear workflows and maintain consistent recurring operations.
• Experience collaborating with marketing, creative, technology, and agency partners to resolve operational issues.
• Strong communication, training, coordination, quality control, and continuous improvement skills.
