Chief Technology Officer (SaaS)

Location: 100% remote; work from wherever you like. The position header also references Europe.

hirify.global operates a global portfolio of B2B SaaS companies, including Prerender, a dynamic rendering platform that helps search engines and AI systems process JavaScript-heavy websites.

What you will do

• Own Prerender's technology vision, roadmap, engineering strategy, R&D budget, and technical direction.
• Lead the transition from infrastructure optimization to a high-velocity, product-focused engineering organization.
• Drive AI-assisted development practices, software quality standards, architecture decisions, and infrastructure trade-offs.
• Operate and improve a multi-region Kubernetes rendering fleet, focusing on cost per render, reliability, performance, security, and operational hygiene.
• Own the security and compliance program, including SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 operational responsibilities.
• Coach a senior engineering team of approximately seven engineers, improve delivery speed, and partner with the CEO, leadership, Product, customers, and the board.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience and 5+ years in senior engineering leadership such as VP, Director, or CTO at a SaaS company.
• Strong infrastructure background with large-scale distributed systems and production Kubernetes experience.
• Demonstrated ability to embed AI tooling into engineering workflows while maintaining review and quality standards.
• Experience transforming engineering teams, improving delivery speed, and implementing lasting process and platform changes.
• Experience owning SaaS security and compliance programs such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or an equivalent framework.
• Hands-on experience with scalable web products, CI/CD, DevOps, security principles, executive communication, and board presentations.
