Senior Solution Engineer

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid

What you will do

• Partner with account sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs and support solution evaluations.
• Present Snowflake technology, vision, roadmap features, and functionality to executive and technical audiences.
• Demonstrate Snowflake solutions throughout the sales cycle, from demos and proofs of concept through design and implementation.
• Build technical champions, contribute to account and territory plans, and support technical wins.
• Develop joint architectures and account strategies with implementation and ecosystem partners.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, sales engineers, customers, and partners to improve products and customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience in solution engineering or solution architecture within a SaaS environment, or relevant analytics, data science, or data engineering experience.
• Outstanding presentation and customer-facing communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology.
• Hands-on experience with SQL.
• Fluency or native-level Dutch is required.
• Ability to solve customer-specific business problems and apply Snowflake solutions.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience with modern data technologies such as dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tooling, orchestration tools, or Git.
• Experience with AI, data science, and machine learning technologies.
