Data Engineer (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid role based in Capelle aan den IJssel, Netherlands, with a modern office in Rotterdam

What you will do

• Maintain, monitor, and optimize ETL pipelines for reliable data ingestion, transformation, storage, and processing.
• Design and maintain robust data architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement data quality monitoring and resolve data discrepancies and pipeline issues.
• Create and maintain dashboards that turn data into clear, actionable insights.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to align data solutions with business needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing data workflows on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data quality monitoring and pipeline reliability.
• Experience with dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Programming skills in Python, SQL, or similar data operations languages.
• Bachelor’s degree specializing in data or computer science, plus a detail-oriented problem-solving approach.
