Data Engineer (Python/SQL)

Location: Hybrid working from the offices in Enschede or Zwolle, or from home in the Netherlands

What you will do

• Design, build, maintain, and optimise scalable ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Develop data models for Revenue Management products.
• Build customer-facing dashboards and self-service analytics.
• Optimise PostgreSQL and BigQuery databases for performance.
• Provide data on product usage, operations, and business performance to internal teams.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to integrate data solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar Data Engineer role.
• Excellent proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern ETL processes.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL and BigQuery.
• BSc, MSc, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Ability to work in the stated hybrid setup from the Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Affinity with backend development using Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with applied AI, including forecasting and pricing models.
