Sr. Manager, Electrical Eng (Gaming Hardware)

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan; onsite leadership role

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, evaluate, and grow a team of senior electrical engineers.
• Define electrical engineering architecture and strategy for gaming keyboards, mice, steering wheels, and controllers.
• Partner with product, project, senior management, and multicultural engineering teams on feasibility, risk mitigation, and system integration.
• Plan and allocate engineering resources across multiple concurrent projects.
• Develop and improve engineering best practices, design reviews, and standardized processes.
• Remove technical roadblocks and support delivery during peak development cycles.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent discipline and 10+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Advanced consumer electronics experience, including PCBA and electrical design from DC to UHF.
• Expertise in RF, wireless systems, antenna design, Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, Wi-Fi, wireless certification, EMC, ESD, EFT, and EMI compliance.
• Experience with battery management ICs, DC-DC regulators, LDOs, LED and display driving circuits, USB, SPI, I2C, analog and digital electronics, and sensor integration.
• Proven use of AI tools and trends for engineering test automation and hardware design.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication in English and Chinese is required. Leadership, mentoring, conflict mediation, and hands-on technical depth are also required.

Nice to have

• Experience with ARM-based platforms, gaming hardware development, IoT, embedded systems, or cellular platforms.
• Experience collaborating with manufacturing sites and scaling consumer hardware.
