Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Consumer Electronics)

Location: Taipei City, Taiwan; international travel required for approximately 15–20% of the role.

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing and production optimization initiatives from early-stage product development through mass production and sustaining engineering.
• Coordinate technical teams, contract manufacturing partners, vendors, and business or product owners.
• Analyze production processes, schedules, methods, labor, materials, and costs to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Drive production improvement, throughput optimization, quality control improvements, and production readiness.
• Lead development builds, production planning, materials readiness, and development schedules for new consumer electronics products.
• Support color variation, limited-edition, and sustaining engineering initiatives for hirify.global products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering-related field preferred.
• 7+ years of validated experience in product development or manufacturing-related roles supporting new consumer electronic devices.
• Experience leading overseas manufacturing partners through development builds and new product development stages.
• Strong understanding of consumer electronics manufacturing methodologies, process engineering, supply chain management, logistics, or strategic component sourcing.
• Experience coordinating engineering, operations, and internal or external teams to meet product development milestones.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Confluence, Jira, and product lifecycle management tools such as Arena.
