Associate Technical Specialist - Sample Management

What you will do

• Operate and maintain automated laboratory platforms, including Echo, Tecan, Janus, Beckman, HighRes, Mosquito, SmartCell, and Hamilton Tube Store systems.
• Support liquid handling protocol development and routine sample management activities.
• Complete SAP transactions and laboratory documentation accurately and on time.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform all work safely and in compliance with quality standards.

Requirements

• BSc degree in a scientific discipline.
• Laboratory experience gained in academia or industry.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and data handling skills.
• Good IT literacy and an interest in automation technologies.
• Ability to work onsite in Cambridge, United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO environments.
• Knowledge of liquid handling automation.
