Analyst II, Analytical Development (Biotechnology)

Location: Milton Park, United Kingdom; 5-day on-site expectation

What you will do

• Perform PCR, ELISA, chromatography, and cell-based analytical testing for Process Development, Analytical Development, Research, and Quality Control projects.
• Support analytical method development and product characterisation projects.
• Prepare laboratory reagents, biological assay standards, and controls.
• Maintain, calibrate, and verify laboratory equipment, and manage laboratory consumables.
• Work in accordance with GMP, company procedures, and health and safety practices.
• Review assay sheets, lab books, and GMP documentation, and train team members on equipment usage and maintenance.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.
• Experience with one or more of cell culture, ELISA, PCR, or chromatography.
• Interest in biological science; GMP laboratory experience is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team, with effective communication and flexible workload management.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• A BSc in Biological Sciences is preferred.
