Facilities Engineer (MEP)

Location: Weighbridge Rd, Shirebrook, Mansfield, UK; onsite work at a large-scale retail warehouse

What you will do

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a large-scale warehouse site.
• Install, maintain, commission, test, and diagnose mechanical and electrical building systems, including HVAC, lighting, power, and plumbing.
• Lead practical technical works, troubleshoot projects and jobs, and support small-scale project delivery.
• Supervise technicians and support their daily maintenance activities.
• Coordinate contractor works, oversee compliance, and work with warehouse associates, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Administer facilities software systems and support the wider group facilities team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in MEP, facilities maintenance, or multi-trade work.
• Experience maintaining warehouses or large-scale sites through planned and reactive work cycles.
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent MEP qualification.
• Up-to-date 18th Edition qualification.
• PASMA, IPAF, ladder safety, or working-at-height training.
• Practical experience with hand and power tools, equipment diagnostics, and working under pressure.

Hiring process
