What you will do

• Learn chip power estimation methodologies, tools, and power calculators.
• Perform power analysis throughout the chip design lifecycle and identify optimization opportunities.
• Implement power optimizations at the RTL and physical design levels.
• Develop automation and improve power analysis and estimation flows.
• Explore AI tools for power analysis, optimization, and design-flow automation.
• Collaborate with architecture, RTL, physical design, verification, and power teams while developing expertise as a power focal point.

Requirements

• Currently in at least the second year of a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Coursework in circuit design, circuit theory, digital logic design, or electronics.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and share knowledge with others.
• Ability to prepare and deliver short PowerPoint presentations covering work, challenges, successes, and key findings.
• Eligibility to access technology and software subject to U.S. export control laws; some applicants may require an export license review.
