Senior Android Developer (Cryptographic)

What you will do

• Develop features and optimize the architecture of the MPC Wallet Android client.
• Implement security modules covering key management, MPC signing flows, and device binding.
• Align APIs and Protobuf interfaces with iOS, backend, and Web teams.
• Optimize startup speed, memory usage, network requests, and UI rendering.
• Write unit and integration tests, review code, and improve CI/CD engineering standards.
• Research Android technologies and introduce suitable tools and frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of native Android development experience and a record of shipping commercial products end-to-end.
• Strong Kotlin skills, familiarity with Java, and solid knowledge of the Android SDK and Jetpack components.
• Ability to build complex interfaces with Jetpack Compose or the traditional View system.
• Experience with MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture; OkHttp, Retrofit, Protobuf, JSON, Hilt, or Koin.
• Knowledge of Android security mechanisms, including KeyStore, encrypted storage, certificate pinning, obfuscation, and hardening.
• Strong code review, Git workflow, communication, and cross-platform collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Blockchain or Web3 experience with BTC, ETH, Solana, wallet applications, or DApps.
• Knowledge of encryption, digital signatures, key derivation, and MPC/TSS concepts.
• React Native, WebView bridging, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go/gomobile integration experience.
• Experience with financial-grade or custody-grade products, compliance, audit, and risk controls.
• Android reverse engineering and security protection experience, including root detection, anti-debugging, and memory protection.
