Senior Android Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role requiring attendance at London or Budapest offices on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

What you will do

• Design and deliver new features for the Android application while maintaining high performance and security.
• Own features end-to-end in collaboration with backend, design, product, and QA teams.
• Set high standards for code quality through hands-on development and code reviews.
• Resolve complex technical issues, reduce technical debt, and improve engineering practices.
• Mentor and support junior engineers on design and implementation best practices.
• Participate in a support rota to resolve customer issues.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building production-grade mobile applications.
• Deep understanding of Android architecture (MVVM or MVI).
• Strong experience with Kotlin, Dagger, Jetpack, and Compose.
• Experience with GraphQL, coroutines, flow, or Rx.
• Familiarity with git, CI, and build tooling like CircleCI.
• Must be able to work from London or Budapest offices on a hybrid schedule.
