Airworthiness Assurance Engineer (Military Derivatives)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; hybrid working model where possible.

What you will do

• Manage, maintain, and extend design organisation approvals, privileges, manuals, and airworthiness procedures.
• Monitor compliance of the design assurance system with applicable airworthiness regulations and maintain authority confidence.
• Resolve DOA queries related to certification, aircraft delivery, and fleet availability.
• Integrate design suppliers and partners into the design assurance system throughout the product lifecycle.
• Coordinate design organisation and assurance processes across DOAs and DO-PO interfaces, including the cascade of authorities and signatories.
• Support SMS and ISMS implementation, training, and Airbus participation in airworthiness rulemaking and standardisation.

Requirements

• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Professional experience in airworthiness, design assurance, certification, or related aerospace activities.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model associated with the Getafe Area.
