VP, Regional CMO, Primary Care

Location: Remote nationwide in the United States; should be based in a current or upcoming CenterWell or Conviva market. Travel to regional markets and hirify.global offices may be required, up to 40%.

What you will do

• Lead regional clinical strategy, culture, performance, and care quality across multiple geographies.
• Direct regional and area medical directors and partner with the Regional Market President as a clinical-business leadership dyad.
• Improve patient outcomes, quality measures, care efficiency, utilization, and patient engagement within a value-based care model.
• Build, recruit, coach, and develop high-quality primary care teams and next-generation clinical leaders.
• Practice approximately 10% clinically in the home market to maintain clinical skills and understand clinicians’ daily environment.
• Lead national initiatives involving care model development, clinical operations, quality, technology enablement, and analytics.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of experience as a practicing physician and five or more years of strategic clinical leadership at a regional or national level.
• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Active board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
• Current, unrestricted medical licensure in applicable state(s), with willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required.
• Experience leading multiple clinical teams across geographies and programs, preferably in medical group and ambulatory care settings.
• Expertise in value-based care, Medicare Advantage, HEDIS/STARS, medical risk adjustment, and team-based primary care models.

Nice to have

• Multi-site clinic start-up experience.
• Experience with managed care, quality and utilization management, network management, capitation, partial risk, or direct contracting.
• Experience with clinical research, publications, talent recruiting channels, or speaking engagements.
