VP, Regional CMO, Primary Care (MedTech)

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; should be based in a current or upcoming CenterWell or Conviva market. Requires travel to markets of up to 40% and occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings.

What you will do

• Lead regional and area medical directors across multiple markets and serve as clinical dyad partner to the Regional Market President.
• Build a patient-centered culture focused on team-based care, clinical excellence, quality, efficiency, and measurable outcomes.
• Improve coordination with specialist, hospital, and community partners to support senior patients.
• Practice approximately 10% clinically in the home market while maintaining clinical expertise and understanding of frontline care.
• Recruit, coach, and develop regional clinical leaders and support staffing and onboarding of primary care clinicians.
• Lead national clinical initiatives involving care model development, operations, quality, technology enablement, and analytics.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of experience as a practicing physician and five or more years of strategic clinical leadership at a regional or national level.
• Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program.
• Active board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine, maintained throughout employment.
• Current unrestricted medical licensure in applicable states and willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required.
• Experience leading multiple clinical teams across geographies, preferably in medical group and ambulatory care environments.
• Expertise in value-based care, especially Medicare Advantage, including HEDIS/STARS, medical risk adjustment, and primary care clinical programming.

Nice to have

• Multi-site clinic start-up experience.
• Experience with Medicare Advantage and managed-care frameworks, including quality, utilization, network, and payment models.
• Experience developing clinician-led strategies and next-generation clinical leaders.
