Lead Product Manager - Ledger Subscriber Ecosystem (Fintech)

Location: Remote-first role tied to hirify.global offices in Draper, Utah and San Jose, California; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary: $172,200–$206,600 USD annually for San Jose, or $146,400–$175,600 USD annually for Draper, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define the three-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Ledger Subscriber Ecosystem.
• Build subscriber capabilities including reconciliation reports, exception queues, cash-positioning views, journal feeds, APIs, and ledger-backed data products.
• Drive adoption of ledger-based workflows across Treasury, Accounting, FP&A, Payment Operations, Tax, Audit, and related finance functions.
• Own discovery, problem definition, specifications, and PRDs across Product, Engineering, Data Platform, and senior finance stakeholders.
• Represent downstream subscriber needs in ledger architecture, schema, event, and control decisions.
• Set outcome metrics covering on-ledger payment volume, reconciliation time, regulatory reporting speed, and audit findings; communicate trade-offs and risks to executives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, including 4+ years in fintech, payments, financial systems, or enterprise SaaS focused on financial data, reconciliation, ledgering, or treasury.
• Experience building internal finance or operations products for Treasury, Accounting, FP&A, or Payment Operations.
• Deep knowledge of ledgering, sub-ledgers, bank and GL reconciliation, month-end close, revenue recognition, treasury, or cash management.
• Track record of owning platform vision, writing shippable PRDs, leading execution, and measuring outcomes.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs involving Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and senior stakeholders without formal authority.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for complex financial and technical topics.

Nice to have

• Experience with GL, sub-ledger, or double-entry accounting platforms, including Fragment or Modern Treasury.
• Exposure to Kafka or Flink in financial systems.
• Background in treasury, accounting, or FP&A, with familiarity with SOX controls, audits, or regulatory reporting.
• Experience with B2B payments, BaaS, card platforms, working capital products, or processor settlement reports from Stripe, Chase, Adyen, or Marqeta.
