Senior Supply Planner

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

What you will do

• Coordinate with OEM vendors to develop supply schedules and maintain ship plans for worldwide market demand.
• Manage direct import order inquiries and improve vendor responses for unmet demand.
• Control inventory, material authorizations, excessive material exposure claims, and critical material supplies.
• Monitor vendor capacity, annual production plans, worker status, inspection, production, and shipment progress.
• Resolve supply, delay, development, and quality issues with worldwide markets and customer service.
• Mentor junior supply planning staff, track KPIs, analyze vendor performance, and improve planning processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in supply planning, manufacturing, inventory management, or a similar role.
• Strong leadership, team management, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with advanced supply chain software such as SAP, Oracle, or Tableau, along with data analysis tools.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to execute tactically in a dynamic environment.
• Good spoken and written English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the toy or consumer goods industry.
• Mandarin communication skills.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
