Senior Manager Technical Accounting (Gaming)

Salary: $107,350–$198,630 annual base pay

What you will do

• Lead technical accounting research and documentation for complex, unusual, and non-recurring transactions, with a focus on revenue recognition.
• Partner with FP&A, Legal, and business units to evaluate new products, contracts, initiatives, and upcoming launches.
• Assess new accounting pronouncements and support the adoption of updated accounting standards and policies.
• Provide training and guidance to accounting, finance, and business teams on accounting requirements.
• Support quarterly and annual close processes and accurate financial reporting in partnership with revenue and general ledger teams.
• Participate in system implementations, process improvements, and M&A due diligence.

Requirements

• B.A. or B.S. in Accounting.
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive technical accounting experience across public accounting and industry roles.
• CPA certification required.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, especially revenue recognition, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience managing and analyzing large data sets.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with reporting tools such as Looker and Hyperion.
• Experience with revenue recognition in the gaming industry.
