American Girl NYC Asset Protection Associate

Location: 75 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, New York; onsite retail store role

Salary: USD 19–21 per hour

What you will do

• Monitor the retail environment and correct safety concerns for customers, guests, and employees.
• Control and guide customer traffic when needed.
• Provide professional customer service and de-escalate difficult situations.
• Prevent asset loss through surveillance, employee package checks, and trash checks.
• Apply knowledge of civil and criminal laws relevant to retail security.
• Act as a safety mentor and lead by example for store employees.

Requirements

• Valid New York State security license required.
• Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Strong communication, multitasking, compassion, and professional judgment.
• One to two years of loss prevention, law enforcement, criminal justice, military, or security experience preferred.
• Experience working with diverse employees and customers, including children, preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
