Manufacturing Engineer - Machining

Location: Hattiesburg, Mississippi, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: $76,050–$96,050 per year

What you will do

• Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Drive safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity, and cost reduction within the assigned department.
• Develop safe and ergonomic processes and work with supervision and maintenance to correct unsafe conditions.
• Analyze operations and equipment utilization to improve quality and output.
• Support production builds and resolve issues with Production Supervisors, Materials, and Design Engineering.
• Coordinate new product introductions, establish shop routes, evaluate capacity needs, provide technical process support, and support ISO 9001 compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Solid internship or co-op experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience with production, assembly, CNC machining, or machine shop environments is beneficial.
