Company

hirify.global develops and mass-produces high-power satellite platforms for commercial and U.S. government missions from low Earth orbit to deep space.

What you will do

  • Assemble Hall effect thrusters and propulsion sub-assemblies using engineering drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions.
  • Support system integration, high-pressure operations, leak checks, proof testing, and pressure-system verification for feed systems and COPVs.
  • Fabricate, bend, fit, and install precision tubing, fluid lines, and wire harnesses.
  • Set up vacuum chambers for acceptance and performance testing and support COPV receiving, inspection, and handling.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, test, quality, and design engineering to resolve hardware issues and improve production processes.
  • Maintain work traceability in MES, follow safety and manufacturing procedures, and support vehicle integration operations when needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on aerospace assembly and test experience in propulsion, pressure systems, fluid systems, or other high-reliability hardware.
  • Experience with pressure testing, leak checking, proof or burst testing, or COPV handling.
  • Familiarity with MES or MRP software and calibrated tools such as multimeters, torque wrenches, safety cable guns, and crimpers.
  • Experience with FOD- and ESD-sensitive hardware and cleanroom requirements.
  • Must be a U.S. person under ITAR regulations or otherwise eligible for a federally issued export-control license.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive physical tasks, stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted, and work extended hours or weekends when needed.

Nice to have

  • Experience with electric propulsion systems, pressure testing, vacuum chambers, turbo pumps, roughing pumps, or gauges.
  • Ability to read mechanical and engineering drawings and interpret tolerances, including GD&T.
  • Experience working with engineering teams in development and production environments.
  • Forklift, crane, or heavy-equipment operating experience.
  • Current or obtainable top secret/SCI security clearance.

Culture & Benefits

  • Fast-paced environment at a high-growth, Series D-funded aerospace company.
