Senior Manager, Enterprise AI Engineering (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with in-person collaboration three days per week in West Hollywood, California; Palo Alto, California; or Vancouver, British Columbia.

What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of AI engineers delivering enterprise solutions across Finance, Legal, People, Marketing, Communications, Operations, and other functions.
• Design and develop AI-powered tools, agents, retrieval systems, automations, and services.
• Own enterprise AI architecture, including LLM Gateway, MCP Gateway, integrations, application and dashboard deployment, and model access management.
• Take solutions from prototype through production in partnership with Engineering, Data, IT, Legal, Security, and Privacy.
• Establish engineering standards, shared infrastructure, evaluation frameworks, and adoption practices for reliable, secure, and scalable AI applications.
• Manage vendors and stakeholders while identifying, prioritizing, and measuring high-impact AI opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant engineering and management experience, including hands-on work building and deploying AI-powered products or systems and managing engineering teams.
• Experience with generative AI technologies, including LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG, evaluations, and model APIs.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with production systems, APIs, integrations, data-driven applications, cloud architectures, security, and enterprise systems.
• Experience taking AI or emerging technologies from prototype through production and adoption.
• Experience leading engineers and complex cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into practical technical solutions and communicate with technical, business, and executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience building enterprise AI products or platforms used across multiple business functions.
• Experience with enterprise AI architecture, cloud infrastructure, security, data integration, governance, and generative AI monitoring.
• Experience creating reusable platforms, services, or components and scaling emerging technologies within a large organization.
