Fellow Software Engineer-Eng (Agentic AI Architecture & Engineering) (AI)

Salary: $233,300–$385,000 USD annual base pay, with potential performance-based bonus and restricted stock unit awards.

What you will do

• Define and lead hirify.global’s enterprise-wide agentic AI strategy, architecture, roadmap, and execution framework across the product suite and AI platform.
• Partner with strategic customers, sales teams, solution consultants, and product leaders to identify high-impact AI use cases and shape value propositions.
• Provide architectural authority for multi-agent systems, orchestration, LLM-powered agents, tool-use architectures, RAG, knowledge systems, and autonomous workflows.
• Establish standards for scalability, observability, cost optimization, performance, safety, evaluation, and guardrails in cloud-native deployments.
• Lead responsible AI governance covering transparency, explainability, human-in-the-loop controls, privacy, risk, compliance, and ethical operation.
• Mentor senior engineers and architects, influence product monetization, represent hirify.global in industry forums, and lead AI technology discussions at board level.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 15+ years of software development and AI experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on generative AI, NLP, or related experience.
• Proven expertise architecting and deploying large-scale AI/ML systems in production environments.
• Expert-level programming skills in languages such as Python or Java; experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, cloud platforms, and MLOps.
• Deep knowledge of generative AI methodologies, including transformer models, diffusion models, GANs, large language models, multimodal architectures, NLP, and machine learning algorithms.
• Strong executive communication, customer engagement, strategic influence, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-compliance environments, privacy-preserving AI, model interpretability, and ethical AI practices.
• Experience optimizing AI models at scale through compression, distillation, and efficient deployment.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD automation.
• Publications in leading AI conferences or journals and an established AI research network.
