Sr Mgr Global Procurement - Lab Consumables

Location: Tarrytown, New York, United States. On-site, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Salary: $134,400–$219,200 annually

What you will do

• Define and implement global lab consumables category strategies for global and regional business needs.
• Align category priorities with Procurement management and cross-functional stakeholders through strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Lead negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management in consultation with the Law department.
• Drive cost savings, cash flow improvements, and operational efficiency through category management.
• Use market intelligence, benchmarking, and supplier engagement to strengthen supply-market knowledge.
• Apply data analytics, automation, and visualization tools to generate insights for stakeholders and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of progressive procurement experience.
• Substantial experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical procurement is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of global category processes and supplier management.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management across multiple categories.
• Experience with sourcing and contracting tools, ERP systems, and eRFx or sourcing platforms is preferred, including Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, LabViva, Zageno, Science Exchange, or Scientist.com.
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Power Automate is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing inventory management programs and technologies such as RFID, QR codes, consignment, VMI solutions, or single-use materials.
