Manager, Ocean Freight (Logistics)

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; onsite

Base salary: $88,000–$110,000 USD annually, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own ocean carrier procurement for assigned tradelanes and carriers.
• Coordinate and negotiate allocation procurement across annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly cycles.
• Shape global carrier strategy, develop long-term carrier partnerships, and reduce procurement costs.
• Provide supply forecasting and build scalable procurement operating rhythms and tools.
• Partner with Technology teams on next-generation procurement systems and global process standardization.
• Manage procurement associates, lead cross-functional meetings, and develop future ocean procurement experts.

Requirements

• 7+ years of ocean freight experience at a top freight forwarder or carrier, or 7+ years of supply chain experience with a BA/BS degree.
• Strategic vision combined with strong execution, process discipline, structure, and data orientation.
• Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel regionally, nationally, and internationally.
• Ability and desire to lead, train, and develop talent.
• Commitment to improving client outcomes and challenging ineffective processes.
