Special Education Teachers (SETSS)

Location: On-site in Manhattan, New York

Salary: $60–$100 per hour, based on group size.

hirify.global provides IEP- and IESP-mandated services to students attending independent, parochial, and charter schools across New York City, as well as some homeschooled students.

What you will do

• Plan and deliver one-to-one or small-group SETSS instruction aligned with each student’s IEP or IESP goals.
• Maintain session notes and complete required documentation.
• Prepare progress reports as required.
• Communicate with schools, families, and student support teams.
• Attend IESP meetings for assigned students.

Requirements

• NYS certification in Students with Disabilities for B-2, 1-6, 7-12, or All Grades.
• Availability to work in Manhattan during the school day, after school, or occasionally on weekends.
• Applicants cannot have been employed by the NYC Department of Education within the past year unless special approval is obtained.
• DOE clearance is completed with support during onboarding.
