Software Engineer (C/C++)

Location: San Jose, United States; hybrid work with office attendance generally required Monday through Thursday and up to one day of telecommuting per week

Salary: $232,200–$282,700 annual salary for California

hirify.global develops a TV streaming platform connecting consumers, content publishers, advertisers, and television hardware.

What you will do

• Research, design, and develop computer and network software.
• Develop software using C/C++, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Handle partner SOC board bring-up, third-party API integration, hirify.global OS feature development, and code maintenance.
• Design scalability solutions for onboarding new factories and support QA and channel certification teams.
• Contribute to end-to-end product development and release cycles.
• Develop new hirify.global OS features for streaming players and hirify.global TVs.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a related field plus two years of relevant experience.
• Experience with software development methodologies, C/C++, Python, and shell scripting.
• Experience with API integration, version control, CI/CD, and DevOps tools including Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and Jira.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems, build systems, dependency management, multithreaded development, memory management, and synchronization.
