Operations Specialist II (Aerospace Operations)

Salary: $28.53–$39.18 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate equipment moves, onsite storage, supplies, inventory, and logistics across the test site.
• Obtain supplier quotes, support contractor selection, and manage material and equipment requirements.
• Review floor plans and drawings to improve space utilization for materials and equipment.
• Own BOM requisitions from initial requirements through delivery and communicate project timelines and status.
• Support test-site safety, cleanliness, process improvement, and operational gap identification.
• Handle and deliver gases and cryogenics, manage storage vessels, and support test-cell operations and small events.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in operations, facilities, logistics, safety, or a related hands-on support role.
• 2+ years of experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in hazardous test environments involving high-hazard, explosive, or radioactive materials.
• DOT 49 CFR certification required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude, ability to use hand tools, time-management skills, and ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing under U.S. export-control requirements.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and document management.
• Experience handling single and carriage gas cylinders.
• Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
