Logistics Technician IV (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Perform logistics operations across stockroom, receiving, shipping, steel stores, dispatch, and related areas.
• Receive, process, move, label, package, and ship materials while completing required documentation.
• Maintain material traceability, verify vendor documentation, and enter related transactions accurately.
• Conduct cycle-count audits, research and reconcile inventory variances, and process rework activities.
• Coordinate deliveries with trucking companies and communicate with personnel across departments.
• Lead process improvements, train team members, and provide backup support for coordinators or supervisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of material-handling logistics experience.
• Experience with RTV processing, rework dispositions, rework work orders, NC Tip QA processes, and inventory variance reconciliation.
• Experience processing inbound and outbound materials and moving materials physically and systematically.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and logistics software.
• Ability to remain on your feet constantly and regularly lift materials and containers weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to work onsite in Torrance, California and access U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Experience in the aerospace industry or knowledge of aerospace standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with HAZMAT and material-handling equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience working cross-functionally under tight deadlines.
