Salesforce Technical Architect - Senior Manager

Location: Chicago, United States; willingness to travel is required.

Base salary: $165,000–$190,000 per year. Total estimated compensation including annual incentive: $198,000–$228,000.

What you will do

• Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, App Cloud, and Agentforce.
• Lead technical architecture workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with client architecture stakeholders.
• Translate business process flows into technical use cases, requirements, and architecture documents.
• Manage technical delivery of integrations, custom extensions, and enterprise software deployments.
• Lead technical design sessions, test planning, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
• Manage technical scope and client expectations while collaborating with project managers, customers, developers, development leads, and account managers.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of consulting experience and 5–7 years of Salesforce.com experience.
• 5–7 years of experience analyzing requirements, writing specifications, testing, troubleshooting, and working with business users.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience managing people and external client projects, including mentoring, delegation, work review, and coaching.
• Experience with Salesforce APIs, Apex, Lightning, AppExchange, Force.com limitations, integration patterns, and enterprise integration tools.
• Experience working with US-based and offshore developers, plus willingness to present at oral presentations and travel.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Application Architect, Certified Systems Architect, or Technical Architect certification.
• Sales Cloud or Service Cloud certifications.
• Experience in Education, Healthcare, Construction, Manufacturing, or Industrials.
• Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related IT discipline.
