TL;DR
Asst. Location: Homewood, Illinois, USA; onsite at a facility

Salary: USD 65,000–80,000 annually

What you will do

  • Manage the flow, delivery, replenishment, and storage of materials across plants and warehouses.
  • Review SAP material master data and own site MRP, purchasing, inventory reporting, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Planning, Production, R&D, Legal, HR, Quality, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain warehouse standards, sanitation, 5S, GMP, traceability, and disposal practices.
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement and TPM activities while tracking team, site, and department KPIs.
  • Recommend cost-reduction and productivity improvements while supporting service-level targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a similar discipline, or equivalent materials management experience.
  • Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP, and lean manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated success using problem-solving methods to improve quality, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Ability to work in the onsite Homewood, Illinois facility.
  • Post-offer, pre-employment drug screening, physical examination, and background check are required.

Nice to have

  • Leadership training or experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • APICS, ISM, or equivalent certification.
  • Previous experience in the ink industry.
