Manager, Career Services

Location: Fully remote with occasional planned onsite travel required; home office, camera availability, and a hard-wired high-speed internet connection required. Evening and weekend flexibility may be needed.

Salary: $75,400–$80,000 USD annually, based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop career services team members while building accountability, learning, trust, and high performance.
• Monitor team productivity and quality across interviews, hires, and graduate placements.
• Manage communication, forecasting, and personalized career support for current students, graduates, and alumni.
• Prepare graduates for interviews, facilitate employer interviews, and support job offers, onboarding, and transition into new roles.
• Handle manager-level customer service, re-engagement, and de-escalation calls while maintaining relationships with students, alumni, and employers.
• Monitor calls, conduct coaching sessions, and provide one-on-one development and performance feedback.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in recruiting, career services, employment assistance, or sales.
• People leadership, multitasking, interpersonal communication, presentation, and basic computer skills.
• Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to support a diverse and inclusive work environment.
• Ability to work remotely from a suitable home office and travel onsite occasionally.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of experience or advanced proficiency in the required skills.
• Experience leading teams and maintaining constructive working relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other business tools.
• Project management, complex problem-solving, time management, influence, and empathy skills.
